 Lois
Marie Tillotson, 62, passed away at her Bonners
Ferry home on June 23, 2011. Lois left this life
early after a short battle with lung cancer, but
she now has the victory. Services will be held
at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 2, at the Bridge Way
Assembly of God Church.
Lois was born on July 18, 1948, in Oakdale,
California to James and Betty (Tucker) Keck. On
December 20, 1969, she married James M.
Tillotson. Lois loved first and foremost her
Lord and savior Jesus Christ, her family and
teaching children. She enjoyed making crafts,
scrap booking and being outdoors riding on
four-wheelers scouting for and collecting rocks.
Lois traveled on short term mission trips to
Russia, Israel and Southeast Asia where she
worked on two medical mission outreaches and
visited and supported two different children's
homes in Thailand and Vietnam.
She was very passionate and dedicated to her
daughters and grand children. Lois lived
unconditional love to family, friends and her
husband of 41 1/2 years.
Survivors include her husband Jim Tillotson,
Bonners Ferry, daughter Teirza Bristow and
husband Steve; Cresenda Gehrke and husband Andy;
grandchildren Emma and Ben Bristow Sean and
Matthew Gehrke; brother Bob Keck; sisters Carol
Keck; Linda Licera and several nieces and
nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jim
and Betty Keck. The family suggests memorials in
her name to Global Gateway Network.
