Ray and Beth get a Christmas surprise
December 13, 2017
Cold, dreary, grey, uneventful and nothing going on much at the Wildhorse Mercantile and Saloon, but aren't we lucky to be here? Christmas is coming and what a surprise Ray and Beth Holmes got Wednesday night when they found out David, a master chief in the U.S. Navy and their youngest, is going to be home this Friday for a few days for a surprise visit!

"Rissa and Justin were home for Thanksgiving with grand kids and now David," Beth posted on Facebook. "WOW!! Christmas presents early this year!"

But their good fortune is your good fortune.

This week dinner specials are New York steaks and chicken Marsalla. Choose mashed or baker along with a home made roll and steamed vegetable. For breakfast, try a chili cheese omelet or a salted caramel crepe. Or choose any of their awesome regular menu items!

"Come on out and visit just for the fun of it!" Ray said.

They are currently tossing around New Years Eve ideas, and they may just have things like prime rib, king crab and more.

"We'll be more specific next week when we fine tune the menu," Beth said. "Anyway, start thinking about reservations to bring in the New Year at the Wildhorse!"

The Wildhorse Mercantile and Saloon is one of Boundary County's hidden gems, tucked away in the Round Prairie area at 529503 Highway 95 south of Eastport. To make your reservations, for New Years Eve or any occasion, give them a call, (208) 267-0688.
