Judge Barbara Buchanan

Robert T. Coates Jr., born 1991, charged with attempted strangulation, a felony, August 25, 2015, by the Bonners Ferry Police Department, pled guilty and sentenced to two years in prison, determinate, three years indeterminate, jurisdiction retained, and $275.50 costs. Charged with grand theft July 7 by the Boundary County Sheriff's Office, pled guilty and sentenced to  two years in prison, determinate, three years indeterminate, jurisdiction retained, and $245.50 costs. Charged with felony malicious injury to property, pled guilty and sentenced to 140 days in jail with credit for 140 days served.

Judge Justin Julian

Gary W. Olson, born 1956, charged with DUI April 9 by the Boundary County Sheriff's Office, pled guilty and sentenced to 90 days in jail, 84 days suspended, 90 day drivers license suspension, $537.50 fine, $212.50 costs and two years probation.

Chrystal M. Zarate-Cruz, born 1978, charged with driving without privileges August 9 by the Boundary County Sheriff's Office, pled guilty and sentenced to 60 days in jail, 20 days suspended, $317.50 fine, $182.50 costs and one year probation. Charged with failure to provide proof of insurance, pled guilty and fined $75 and $56.50 costs.

Joseph R. Welch, born 1992, charged with DUI, second offense, August 19 by the Bonners Ferry Police Department, amended to DUI, pled guilty and sentenced to 100 days in jail, 85 days suspended, 80 hours sheriff's inmate labor program in lieu of jail, 180 day drivers license suspension, $547.50 fine, $227.50 costs and one year probation. Charged with open container, pled guilty and sentenced to four days in jail, $12.50 fine and $187.50 costs.

Jimmy A. Dynes, born 1976, charged with driving without privileges September 2 by the Idaho State Police, amended to invalid license, pled guilty and fined $68.50 and $157.50 costs.

David N. Bolender, born 1970, charged with reckless driving September 4 by the Idaho State Police, pled guilty and sentenced to 30 days in jail, 28 days suspended, $332.50 fine, $167.50 costs and one year probation.

Jacob Billy Mutter, born 1993, charged with driving without privileges, second offense, September 11 by the Bonners Ferry Police Department, amended to invalid license, pled guilty and fined $68.50 and $157.50 costs.

Richard C. Staats, born 1943, charged with invalid license September 15 by the Bonners Ferry Police Department, pled guilty and sentenced to 10 days in jail, suspended, $132.50 fine, $169.50 costs and one year probation.

Donald Scott Onstott, born 1970, charged with exceeding allowed gross load October 2 at the port of entry, pled guilty and fined $148 and $160.50 costs.

7:03 a.m.: A search warrant served at 6897 Atlanta Street resulted in an arrest for felon in possession of a firearm.
10:19 a.m.: A theft was reported at Boundary Community Hospital.
10:38 a.m.: An arrest was made at Woody's Pawn Shop on a charge of possession of stolen property.
10:47 a.m.: An ambulance was requested at a Chippewa Drive residence.
5:18 p.m.: A fire was reported on Old Highway 2 Loop.

Friday, October 20
8 a.m.: An ambulance was requested at a residence on Highway 95 near mile 511.
12:22 p.m.: A warrant arrest was made at the sheriff's office on a charge of criminal contempt of court.
4:52 p.m.: An ambulance was requested at Bonners Ferry High School.
7:58 p.m.: A traffic stop at 6778 Ivy Lane resulted in an arrest for injury to a child.

Saturday, October 21
7:06 a.m.: A vehicle collision was reported on Highway 95 near mile 496.
6:27 p.m.: A fire was reported on Highway 95 at Deep Creek Loop.
6:44 p.m.: A fire was reported on Tannenbaum Circle.
