Not guilty pleas entered in Yaak murder case
September 22, 2017
Boundary County residents Ezra Levi Skinner, 28, and his wife Sarah Louise Carpenter Skinner, 27, both pled not guilty Monday to the charge of deliberate homicide in the January death of Travis Jay "T.J." Gillett, 31, during their arraignment hearing in Lincoln County 19th Judicial District Court in Libby.

Both remain held without bail in the Lincoln County Detention Center.

The Skinners were arrested in Boundary County August 24 in a cooperative effort by both the Lincoln County and Boundary County Sheriff's Offices.

Gillett, Sarah's former boyfriend, was reported missing from the Sandpoint area on January 16 and found dead of multiple gunshot wounds later that day in the upper Yaak.

An omnibus hearing in the case has been set for Monday, November 13.
