Bonners Ferry Border Patrol Explorer Post #190
is now recruiting! If you or someone you know is
interested in joining, have them go to the
Bonners Ferry Border Patrol Station, 112 Moon
Shadow Road at Three Mile and pick up an
application.
To join the program, applicants must be 14 to 21
years of age and have no criminal history. All
Explorers are required to pass a background
check and interview.
As an Explorer, you will learn the different
aspects of law enforcement as well as
participate in ride alongs and educational
programs with U.S. Customs and Border Patrol
agents. Exploring gives young adults the ability
to get hands on training and knowledge in law
enforcement.
Explorers meet once a at the Border Patrol
Station, and at each meeting have physical
training first thing. New recruits will be
required to meet some physical training
guidelines and must be in shape.
