Storm warning cancelled, advisory issued

The National Weather Service has cancelled the winter storm warning for North Idaho and has replaced it with a winter weather advisory for snow, in effect until 10 a.m. Tuesday.

Frequent snow showers will continue through today, increasing in intensity overnight tonight, bring an additional two to three inches to the valleys and four to six inches over the mountains.

Winds gusting to 35 miles an hour an high elevations will cause blowing and drifting snow.
