Winter storm warning extended

The winter storm warning currently in effect has been extended through 10 a.m. Monday, with snowfall expected to linger north of Sandpoint into Monday, bring an additional five to 10-inches, with the heaviest snow expected along the Canadian border.

South of Sandpoint, snow may change over to rain later this afternoon, but revert back to snow overnight, dropping an additional two to five inches of snow in the southern part of the watch area.
