We made it through Semester 1!
January 25, 2017
By Principal Kevin Dinning

With finals wrapping up at Bonners Ferry High School, it is a pleasure to say we are putting a cap on Semester 1.

Reports cards will be finalized on February 1 to allow teachers and students some relief after some weather related closures late in the semester.

Thank you to all the staff and students involved in helping us tweak the schedule; you are appreciated!

In total, the semester flew by, and I don’t know where the time went. That is not to say there were not moments where it felt like light years away, but those days are going to happen, and they allow us all to appreciate those days that fly by even more.

I am thankful for a great semester, and there are many people that I will be thanking in the coming weeks for helping BFHS put another semester under our belt.

However, it is important that I express my gratitude to one particular set of people publicly. They deserve it, and they are taking ownership of the culture at BFHS.

BFHS students continue to surprise me on a regular basis. I could go without some of the infrequent disciplinary surprises, but they come with the territory. The students at BFHS have worked hard to meet the expectations for behavior this year, and it is noticed by everyone in the building.

I challenge you all to better yourself every day, but you have been Badger Awesome this year. I am proud to say you are my students! Thank you!

Some upcoming events to look for are District Wrestling, District Basketball, and anything Robotics, as they have started to build their robot for this year. Please, check out the BCSD live calendar on the webpage to stay current with the events throughout our district.

Go Badgers!
