Robbers get away empty handed

December 29, 2013
Robbers caused considerable damage to a Palmer Wasilla Highway business early Saturday morning, but made their getaway empty handed. Now Alaska State Troopers are working to identify the culprits and bring charges.

A commercial burglar alarm went off at about 2:07 a.m. December 28 at Body Piercings and Tattoo in Wasilla near equestrian acres. When troopers arrived, the burglars were gone, but investigators found about $750 in damages from where the would-be thieves forced entry.

The owner could identify nothing missing.

The investigation is on-going and anyone with any information regarding this crime is asked to call either Crime Stoppers at (907) 745-3333, or the Alaska State Troopers at (907) 745-2131.
