Pickup stolen, wrecked

Thieves made off with a Wasilla family's new Ford pickup the
night before last, but they didn't get far. The pickup was found
crashed in Butte and authorities are looking for the culprit.
The report of the missing 2013 Ford F-150 came in at about 8:50
a.m. December 26, when the family realized the truck was missing
from their driveway on Moyen Ruelle Court, taken sometime during
the night.
The pickup was later found crashed into some trees, at the
intersection of Plumley and Butte Roads in Butte, and recovered
by the owner, not nearly in as good a shape as it was when
taken.
Alaska State Troopers are seeking information from anyone who
has knowledge of the theft or who may have seen suspicious
