The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather
advisory for snow for the Susitna Valley, including Talkeetna,
Willow and Cantwell beginning at 5 p.m. today.
The advisory, in effect until 5 a.m. Thursday, calls for five to
10 inches of new snow to fall overnight as a system develops at
the southern end of the valley this evening and moves north.
Those making the morning commute tomorrow are encouraged to give
yourselves extra time to reach your destinations and be prepared
for slick driving conditions. |
