An early morning phone call Saturday landed a 27 year-old
Wasilla man back behind bars.
At 12:59 a.m. December 7, Alaska State Troopers received a
report of a possible violation of conditions of release near
Marth Road in Palmer. On arrival, they found Daniel Wilkins,
convicted of DUI in May, 2011, and felony assault in December of
the same year.
He had driven to the location with a suspended license, and he'd
been drinking.
He was arrested and charged with VCOR, DUI and driving while
suspended, and taken to the Mat-Su Pretrial Facility, where he
refused to submit to a breath test. He's being held on $10,000
bond. |
