Two Chickaloon women suffered serious injuries December 5 in
an automobile accident near milepost 70 on the Glenn Highway.
Both were transported to Mat-Su Regional Medical Center.
According to Alaska State Troopers, Betty Evans, 70, lost
control of her 2005 Buick Rainier at about 3:05 p.m. and crashed
into a snow bank. Sheryl Evans, 53, was in the vehicle with her,
and both sustained serious injuries despite wearing seatbelts. |
