Two Wasilla homes were burglarized within moments of each
other Tuesday, and Alaska State Troopers are asking the public's
help to apprehend those responsible.
The first burglary was reported at about 3:08 p.m. on North
Covington Street. Troopers found the door had been kicked in and
a handgun, several electronics devices and games worth an
estimated $1,800 had been taken.
At 3:18 p.m., a second burglary was reported on Faulkner Street,
where items, including firearms, worth an estimated $8,000 were
stolen.
