Lane closures planned on I-90

July 24, 2012
Motorists will experience temporary lane closures Thursday, July 26, on Interstate 90 at the site of the Beck Road Interchange construction project in Post Falls, the Idaho Transportation Department announced.

Shoulder closures through the work zone already are in place.

The east- and westbound passing lanes will be closed beginning at 7 p.m.; the closure will last until 5 a.m. Friday. The contractor will set concrete barrier on the passing lane shoulders.

The closure will last one night. Intermittent lane closures throughout the project timeline will be required in the future.

The project was designed by H.W. Lochner Engineering of Boise and is being constructed by Ralph L. Wadsworth Construction Co. of Draper, Utah.

They are working an ambitious construction schedule, with completion expected by late November.
