Matthew Ellis Barnett, 34, Waslla Walla, Washington, and Ruth Loree Mattmiller, 27, Sandpoint, married in Bonners Ferry by Father Gregory Horton May 27.

Benjamin Levi-Lee Gilbert, born 1990, charged with possession of alcohol by a minor July 2, 2009, by the Bonners Ferry Police Department, pled guilty and sentenced to a 90 day drivers license suspension, $82.50 fine and $117.50 court costs.

 

Wayne David Jelinek, born 1969, charged with DUI, second offense, March 24 by the Bonners Ferry Police Department, amended to DUI, pled guilty and sentenced to 60 days in jail, 50 days suspended, 90 day drivers license suspension, $557.50 fine, $242.50 court costs and two years probation.

 

Michael E. Phillips, born 1986, charged with excessive DUI April 22 by the Boundary County Sheriffs Office, pled guilty and sentenced to 60 days in jail, 50 days suspended, four days to be served 48 hours sheriffs inmate labor program in lieu of six days, 365 day drivers license suspension, $557.50 fine, $192.50 court costs and two years probation.

 

Gerald B. Voxland, born 1948, charged with exceeding allowable gross load April 30 at the port of entry, pled guilty and fined $534 and $137.50 court costs.

 

Roumen Stoyanov, born 1964, charged with failure to wear seatbelt while operating a commercial vehicle May 12 by the Idaho State Police, pled guilty and fined $43.50 and $140.50 court costs.

 

Darrin Anthony Farrell, born 1989, charged with driving without privileges May 29 by the Bonners Ferry Police Department, pled guilty and sentenced to 30 days in jail, 28 days suspended, 180 day drivers license suspension, $337.50 fine, $162.50 court costs and one year probation. Charged with failure to provide proof of insurance, pled guilty and sentenced to 30 days in jail, 28 days suspended, $300 fine and one year probation.

 

Marcus J. Maupin, born 1996, charged with misdemeanor possession of a controlled substance February 21 by the Bonners Ferry Police Department, admitted true and sentenced to 90 days detention, 80 days suspended, $100 court costs and two years probation.

6:43 a.m.: Malicious injury to property was reported at the school district bus barn.

10:03 a.m.: Boundary County Disaster Services was activated after a bomb threat was found at Bonners Ferry High School.

11:57 a.m.: A fire was reported on Templeman Lake Road.

1:20 p.m.: An ambulance was requested at the Kootenai River Inn.

7:33 p.m.: A traffic stop on Kennedy Street resulted in an arrest for failure to provide proof of insurance.

7:37 p.m.: A vehicle collision was reported at 65432 Highway 2.

1:51 p.m. An ambulance was requested at 6822 Highway 1.

9:29 p.m.: A caller reported being threatened at 7501 Crow Street.

 

May 31

6:37 a.m.: A traffic stop on U.S. 95 at Homestead Loop resulted in an arrest for invalid license.

10:57 a.m.: A report of a burglary at 6337 McCall Street resulted in an arrest for burglary/unlawful entry.

11:07 a.m.: A caller reported a minor consuming at Bonners Ferry High School.

1:08 p.m.: A battery was reported at 519 Lost Mile Road.

4:15 p.m.: A vehicle collision was reported in the Bonners Ferry High School parking lot.

5:04 p.m.: A person was reported missing from Boulder Creek Academy.

8:13 p.m.: An ambulance was requested at 59 Depot Road.

9:17 a.m.: Malicious injury to property was reported on McArthur Lake Road.

9:05 p.m.: A traffic stop on U.S. 95 at Sunrise Court resulted in an arrest for criminal contempt of court.

1:54 a.m.: A report of a minor consuming on Forest Service Road 2538 resulted in an arrest for possession of alcohol by a minor.

3:19 a.m.: A traffic stop on U.S. 95 at Jackson Street resulted in an arrest for minor in possession of alcohol.
