Libby Dam flow update, area weather forecast

Current Koocanusa Reservoir inflow is ~3.9 thousand cubic feet per second (kcfs). Current Libby Dam outflow is ~six kcfs.

Outflow from Libby Dam will increase from six kcfs to 9 kcfs over two hours beginning at 7 a.m. Tuesday, November 8 November. Total discharge will likely remain at nine kcfs until Tuesday, 15 November. The low, stable outflows are intended to help facilitate ecosystem habitat restoration work by the Kootenai Tribe of Idaho near Bonners Ferry, Idaho.

Current Koocanusa Reservoir elevation is 2447.7 feet.
