 Rumors
have been rampant regarding what's going to
happen on the currently vacant land that used to
hold the Lantern Restaurant and Motel and the RV
park on the north side of U.S. 95 in south
Bonners Ferry, and based on anonymous reports
from reliable sources, the rumor that
Super 1 Foods, which recently
opened a popular new grocery in Sandpoint, is
going to be adding a Bonners Ferry location in
the near future.
According to a Real Estate professional, closure
on the sale of that property to Super 1 Foods is
imminent ... and local officials have been doing
everything possible to smooth the transition and
facilitate the deal, but there are yet a few
specifics to be attended.
It's also been reported by a reliable source
that Super 1 representatives have been working
in Bonners Ferry, and specifications for
construction bids on the new store are being
developed and are on the verge of being
released.
There's even an anticipated, though rough,
opening day being bandied about as sometime in
July, 2012.
News Bonners Ferry is seeking to confirm these
reports with Super 1 officials and will report
any news they provide. |
