A second kitchen fire at the home of "Border"
Bob Hovish has forced him to cancel the Back
Yard BBQ Cook Off competition originally
scheduled for September 10.
But that doesn't mean it won't happen ... Bob
said he's now planning to kick off the event

Last year, Bob's kitchen caught fire, destroying
it and causing smoke and heat damage throughout
most of his house. He was still in the process
of rebuilding when another fire broke out
several days ago, not causing quite as much
damage as the first one, but doing enough that
the rebuilding process has to begain anew.
"I think I'd better stick to cooking outside!"
he said Saturday evening while catering to the
boys in the band at the Gatlin Brothers concert. |
