To the Editor:
A letter to Boundary County Voters;
When things are running smoothly, it is easy to
take for granted what is involved in running the
hub of county government—the County Clerk's
Office. Boundary County has been well served by
Glenda Poston, who has demonstrated the
qualities that bring efficiency and competence
to an office that assists the public in a broad
range of services from the Court system to
Elections and everything in between.
As Glenda's counterpart in Idaho County, I have
come to know and respect her wealth of knowledge
and willingness to share that knowledge . She
has been recognized as a leader across the
State, having served in numerous positions
through the Idaho Association of Counties. Her
readiness to take on these extra
responsibilities on the State level means that
the citizens of Boundary County have a voice—a
voice that represents their values, work ethic,
and concerns. This ability to build
relationships is vital not only on the State
level, but to the day-to-day operations of the
Clerk's Office.
Glenda has been a successful leader for Boundary
County, as well as a leader and mentor for
others across Idaho. I would encourage you to
support her re-election bid in the May 15
Primary Election.
Kathy M. Ackerman
