Don't educate a new person at voter expense |

To the Editor:
Voters of Boundary County:
I write this letter in support of Glenda Poston.
Glenda has served Boundary County for the last
14 years as the County Clerk.
Prior to her position as Clerk of the County,
Glenda worked in the timber industry for 30
years. Her knowledge of the working of her
office, and of the county in general, is hard to
challenge. Anyone who thinks they can do a
better job has obviously not looked at Glenda’s
track record as Clerk. A newly elected Clerk
would not have the ability to hit the ground
running without having a background in how this
community operates.
That in itself would require a new person to be
educated at voter expense. Having been an
elected official in this county, I know how
things work. It takes dedication and hard work
to stay the course as long as Glenda has.
As the old saying goes “If it ain’t broke, don’t
fix it.”
