It is Dr. Seuss set to some amazing music performed by some of the strongest young performers in our area, at what will become Bonners Ferry's own Pearl Theatre.

This is a chance to see the "oyster" which will become the Pearl Theater this fall and meet its owner Carolyn Testa.

Over twenty young performers will present a show full of laughs, jubilant music, and warm hearted "Seussical" moments in which we can all see ourselves. The performances of "Seussical, Jr" by Bonners Ferry's award winning children's choir "Swingin' on a Star" will be a four day run beginning at 7 p.m. Saturday, June 11, with a matinee perfomance Sunday, at 3 p.m. Showtime Monday and Tuesday is also 7 p.m.

Seating is limited to about 75 per performance. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for students 18 and under. Children will be encouraged to sit on mats on the floor in front of the stage. The Pearl Theater (the old Community Fellowship Church) is located on Ash Street just off of Highway 95 in downtown Bonners Ferry. Tickets are available at Thompson Chiropractic on Highway 95, from cast members, and at the door.

All the singers are members of "Swingin' on a Star."

Director, choreographer and conductor is Vicki (Blake) Thompson. Assistant directors include Rona Hall, Lisa Palmer, and Holly Robertson. Swingin' on a Star: the Bonners Ferry Children's Choir, began in 1997 and has received all Superior ratings at MENC large group festivals including several "perfect" scores.
