October 1, 2013 |
Aspiring cheerleaders are invited to attend the
"Tackle me Pink" cheer camp at Bonners Ferry
High School on Friday, October 11, and after
spending a few hours learning both cheer and
dance routines, they'll be on the sidelines that
night as the Badgers take on Timberlake. The camp is open to all ages, and it runs from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the high school gym, where participants will learn cheers, a dance routine, play games and more. They'll return to the high school football field at 6 p.m., cheer with both the varsity and JV Badger cheerleaders during the first half of the varsity game, then take the field for a halftime performance in front of myriad Badger fans. Cost is $25 per participant, or $20 per child if more than one participates from the same immediate family. For a printable registration form, click here. Registration forms and fees can be turned in at any Boundary County public school by Monday, October 7; the fee for those who register late is $30. Each participant will receive a free T-shirt.
