The Sandpoint Bulldogs won both varsity games in
front of a sold-out Badger crowd Friday night,
but the Badgers came away with the antlers, and
no one lost in this year's delayed Moose Madness
match-up.
Both schools raised money; Sandpoint High School
for Toys for Tots and Bonners Ferry High for
Head Start. The Badgers earned the most,
bringing in more than $2,000 and the right to
hold the antlers until next year's matchup.
Garrett Skeen led the Badger effort with 14
points in the boys matchup, but the Bulldogs
dominated, winning 68-46. Cameron Woods also
broke double digits for the Badgers, hitting 10
points.
On the girls side, the game was much closer,
with the Badgers leading at the half by two,
20-18. The Bulldogs pulled it out in the second
half to win, 48-40.
Aubree Wasmer led the Badgers on scoring,
putting up a dozen points, Savannah Woods was
next, scoring eight points.
