It is an honor to recognize Mr. Josh Knaggs as
the Certified Employee of the Month for October
2017. Mr. Knaggs is a versatile person to have
in a school. He is the art teacher at Bonners
Ferry High School, and he is starting to round
the corner toward a decade of service at BFHS.
Mr. Knaggs started at BFHS in the fall of 2008,
and he has continued to be a gift to our
students, staff and community.
Alongside his teaching responsibilities, Mr.
Knaggs is a mentor teacher, a class advisor,
co-president of the Boundary County Education
Association, a lead teacher, a husband to Mrs.
Knaggs at the middle school, and the list goes
on.
It is not uncommon to see him taking tickets or
completely decked out in Badger Blue in support
of a spirit day.
Mr. Knaggs is also a big reason that we continue
to have Badger Awesome Monday. Teachers and
students are encouraged to dress their best on
Monday as a way to start out week off on the
right foot. The staff at BFHS has taken to this
Badger Awesome Monday, and we are always pleased
to see some of our students taking part as well.
I am most honored to recognize Mr. Knaggs as
Certified Employee of the Month because of his
commitment to encourage our staff and students
by example. He is always leaving inspirational
notes in our staff room, he's always here for
us, and he continues to push us to do everything
we can to make a positive impact on others.
If you have not had a chance to speak to Mr.
Knaggs or see his classroom, I encourage you to
find some time to come see the high level of
achievement that he fosters.
Kudos Mr. Knaggs! You are Badger Awesome! |
