UMC to offer free meals |
November 22, 2016 |
The Bonners Ferry United Methodist Church will
offer a free meal from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
every Thursday as a community service, starting
December 1, in their basement hall at 6568
Lincoln Street.
Each meal will consist of a main course,
vegetable, salad, roll and dessert with coffee
or tea. Everyone is cordially invited every
Thursday, regardless of age or financial
resources. Donations for the meal will be
accepted but certainly not required.
John, one of the disciples of Jesus, wrote in I
John 3:17-18 “If someone who is supposed to be a
Christian has money enough to live well, and
sees a brother in need, and doesn’t help him –
how can God’s love be within him? Little
children, let us stop just saying we love
people; let us really love them, and show it by
our actions.” (Living Bible)
Please call coordinator Ginger Perrenoud at
(208) 304-6854 with questions or to volunteer by
donating food, washing dishes or waiting tables. |
