Local students earn scholarships

Inland Northwest Community Foundation recently
awarded 94 scholarships totaling $147,767 to
students from Eastern Washington and North Idaho
for the 2013-2014 school year, including two to
local students.
The Foundation currently manages 27 scholarship
programs on behalf of donors who have
established funds at INWCF.
Bonners Ferry High School students receiving
Lenhart scholarships were Benjamin Horton,
$1,000, and Jessica Beazer, $400.
Founded in 1974, INWCF serves 10 Eastern
Washington counties and 10 North Idaho counties
to foster vibrant and sustainable communities in
the Inland Northwest.
The community foundation currently manages 374
funds valued at more than $76 million and has
awarded more than $43 million in grants and
scholarships since its inception, positively
impacting thousands of lives in this region. |
