Callister a U.S. Marine
Jacob Callister, the son of Ryan and Valerie
Callister, Eastport, and a 2012 graduate of
Bonners Ferry High School, recently spent some
time at home on leave after graduating 13-weeks
of boot camp at the Marine Corps Recruit Depot,
San Diego, to become a private first class in
the United States Marine Corps.He has since departed to Camp Pendleton, California, for combat training, after which he'll travel to the east coast to undergo specialized occupational training.
While a Badger, Callister was active in cross country and track, and he was named a Rotary Club Student of the month in January, 2011.
