NLI expects all power on today, cold coming |
December 22, 2017 |
Northern Lights crews are making good progress,
with about 708 members still out of power as of
6:30 a.m. today.
Trees are still falling under the weight of the
snow, but crews are hoping to have most, if not
all, members lit up again by the end of today.
If you haven't already, get ready for frigid
temperatures.
There's a 50-percent chance of scattered snow
showers through today, with light accumulations
expected, and a high temperature of 27-degrees,
but when the sun goes down this afternoon
(though a few seconds later than yesterday!) the
mercury is expected to drop to around 7-degrees
in Bonners Ferry.
If you have livestock or outdoor pets, be sure
to get them liquid water and a place out of the
wind as a northeast breeze of five to 15 will
make it seem colder. |
