With all the heavy snow, county residents are
being encouraged to shovel your walks, plow your
drives and private roads, clear your roofs and
decks and many of our neighbors, especially the
elderly, the ill, single parents with young
children and others just can't safely do the
work, NewsBF is once again activating the Snow
Line.
As I did last year, I will put NewsBF, both
Facebook and the website, to work in an effort
to connect those in need of help with those who
are willing and able to help.
Message me on
Facebook, email me at
mikeweland@gmail.com or call (208) 295-1016.
If you call and I don't answer, please leave a
detailed message; I am unable to get to the
phone in time if I'm away from my desk, but I
will get the information to post or return your
call as soon as I am able.
As with last year, there are no office hours to
worry about, no deadlines. Get in touch at your
convenience and I will post as soon as I can.
Those needing help should give me their name, a
little on why help is needed, what you need
done, your physical address and daytime contact
information.
Those willing to help their neighbors for free,
be it individuals, families, work parties, civic
or church group, please provide what help you
are able to give, what area you are able to help
in and your contact information.
I will also list those offering for pay
commercial snow clearing services for free, just
send me what services you offer, what area you
work in and your contact information.
The information will be published on our website
at
www.newsbf.com/snowline.com, which will go
online Thursday afternoon, as well as posted to
our Facebook page. I will keep the page active
until calls for help stop. |
