Village Project looking for youth participants |
July 14, 2017 |
This will be the third year the Village Project
has offered summer youth programming for migrant
youth in Boundary County and their second year
partnering with Boundary School District 101.
This year marks the first time they have
enrollment spots available for other youth in
the community to join in on the fun!
The Village Project is looking for youth ages
7-12 who would like to participate in a variety
of activities such as metal working, arts and
crafts, outside games, cooking and more.
The program will run 12:30 to 3 p.m. Monday
through Friday, beginning Monday, July 24, and
ending August 18.
There will be a field trip every Friday, which
might extend the hours on those days. Pickup and
drop-off will take place at the Boundary County
Middle School.
Anyone interested in participating in the
program must commit to attending every day of
the four-week program. There is no cost to
participate, but there are limited enrollment
spots.
To find out more or to enroll your children in
the Village Project, please call Amy Robertson
at the Boundary County Extension Office, (208)
267-3235. |
