Young singers invited to summer choir program |

The Pearl Theater and Novinger's Music Center is
offering first through sixth grade singers and
aspiring singers a 10-week summer choir program
that will culminate withe three very special
performances at the Community Restorium, the
Pearl Theater and the 2017 Boundary County Fair!
Students who register for the choir must plan to
attend one-hour rehearsals faithfully each week
beginning at 3 p.m. Thursday, June 8, where
members will learn vocal warm-up and singing
techniques through a varied repertoire,
including secular and sacred music appropriate
for children.
The choir will be directed by Glenda Novinger,
who brings more than 40 years' music education
and performing experience. She has worked with
small ensembles and choirs of all sizes in
schools, churches, communities and recording
studios.
Sessions will be held each successive Thursday
from noon to 1 p.m. through August 17 at
Novinger's Music Center, 6426 Kootenai Street,
Bonners Ferry. Cost is $100 per member.
Discounts apply if there is more than one
participant per family.
