Explorers visit Virtra simulator | |

Bonners Ferry Border Patrol Explorer Post #190
held their April meeting at the Spokane Police
Department, where the U.S. Border Patrol
currently houses their Virtra simulator machine. Explorers were trained on using verbal commands to talk a person out of a potentially dangerous situation to responding to a school shooting and needing to make split second decisions deciding if the people in the scenario were students or a shooter. All the Explorers did a fantastic job and we are extremely thankful to the Spokane Sector Border Patrol Instructors who took the time to come in and allow us the opportunity to use their machine. |
