Plenty of cool cars on the summer horizon
April 12, 2017
By Jason Mueller

There are many events in the area each year and the local car shows are an exciting way to get out of the house and check out some cool cars, while also providing an opportunity to bring your own special car to show off to others in the crowd.

With many of the Boundary County car clubs gearing up and getting ready to go for this year, you don’t want to miss out on all that they offer. Each provides something different and exciting to every visitor that comes to check them out.

Breakfast with the Ignitors

On April 22, come out between 9 and 11 a.m. to have breakfast with the Ignitors and Rod Benders. All the cars will be on display while Chic n’ Chop Restaurant, 6421 Main Street, Bonners Ferry, serves up some delicious breakfast options for those that want to come out for a good time.

After breakfast, you can watch as the cars cruise down the road and away. This is an event open to one and all.

For more information, contact the Rod Benders Car Club via their website.

Lost in the 50s Show

Head out for a good time and for a good cause with the Lost in the 50s Show. Come out May 19 to the Fairgrounds in Sandpoint for an exciting day full of food, music and vendors.

All classic cars from the surrounding clubs will be present, allowing you to look at each one of them. Raising money for a good cause, everyone is invited to come out and view or enter their classic car into the show.

This show is an annual show that strives to raise funds for a select charity each year. For more information on this year’s upcoming show you can call (208) 265-5678.

Borders 3 Jamboree

Happening all day on June 3 in downtown Bonners Ferry, you can come out and enjoy the 18th annual Borders 3 Car Show. Register your own vehicle or just come out and see the great cars at the show.

With vendors and plenty of food and fun for the whole family, this is a car show you can bring everyone along for some fun. This is one of the busiest shows in the county, with classic cars coming from all over the state and further. This is also one of the biggest, aside from Car D’Lane, that is happening within this area.

Therefore, all are invited to come out and enjoy everything that the club has put together for entertainment in the local area.

For more information on the Borders 3 Jamboree, you can contact The Rod Benders on their website.

If you are a classic car owner, what better way to show your special car off than to have it in one of these great local shows? Make sure to speak with a professional car transporter regarding getting it to the show to make sure it arrives safely and right on time for you park it for the show.
