County Road closures now in effect |

A number of Boundary County roads have been
closed today to hauling due to spring break up
weather conditions. There is a 24-hour grace
period, but just to be safe, if you need to haul
on a Boundary County road and you're not sure,
call Road & Bridge at (208) 267-3838 or visit
http://www.boundarycountyid.org/site-page/spring-road-closures before you head out.
If you are hauling essential supplies, you can
call that number to inquire about a permit.
When the temperatures stays below 26 degrees
Fahrenheit for a period of six hours, Road &
Bridge will be issuing permits on an individual
basis for early morning use. If the temperature
stays below freezing we will look into all day
use. There is no fee for a permit.
The allowable gross of the permitted vehicle
will be based on 300 pounds per inch of tire
width.
