Storm warning issued for snow, sleet, ice |

The National Weather Service has issued a winter
storm warning for snow, freezing rain and sleet
in effect from 7 a.m. Tuesday through 8 a.m.
Thursday. The winter storm watch issued Sunday
is no longer in effect.
Six to 14 inches of new snow is possible north
of Sandpoint, and 0.15 to 0.25 inches of ice are
possible south.
The first round of very light wintry
precipitation is expected Tuesday morning,
followed by a break Tuesday afternoon, with only
intermittent freezing drizzle, then moderate to
heavy snow, freezing rain and sleet moves in
Tuesday night and continues through Wednesday. |
