The National Weather Service has issued a
winter storm watch for the possibility of heavy
snowfall Thursday through Saturday morning in
the Idaho Panhandle.
The system is expected to bring snow to the
Cascades Thursday afternoon before moving into
North Idaho Thursday evening, bringing five to
eight inches of snow in the valleys and 10 to 20
inches in the mountains, with the heaviest
snowfall predicted for the Cascades.
Snow is expected to taper off over the Cascades
by late Friday and over the Panhandle Saturday
morning. |
