Pat Ramsay needs community's help |
September 2, 2016 |
After giving of herself to the community for
many years, Pat Ramsay is in need of the
community's help. On Saturday, September 10, a
benefit will be held on her behalf at the
Ponderay Event Center to raise funds for her
medical treatment.
Ramsay was raised in Naples and attended school
there as well as in Bonners Ferry. She has
spearheaded numerous benefits in Bonner,
Boundary and Kootenai Counties, helping to raise
money for others. Pat has also supported Turkey
Bowling to raise money for Toys for Tots.
During her time working at the Tam O’Shanter in
Sandpoint, she also helped with adopting at
least one family each Christmas.
“With the help of the good people of The Tam,”
she said, “the number of families adopted each
year grew.”
Pat is now facing her own battle with esophagus
cancer. As medical costs build, she needs people
in the community to step up and help so she can
focus on spending her time with Butch, her
husband of 51 years, their children,
grandchildren, family and friends.
At Saturday's benefit, the menu will include
pulled pork, potato salad and baked beans, and
afterward, Jeff Sater will lead a live auction.
Those with items to donate for the auction
should call (208) 255-2603 or drop them off at
Hideaway Lounge, 300 Bonner Mall Way, Ponderay.
Please come out to the Ponderay Event Center,
401 Bonner Mall Way, Ponderay, at 4 p.m.
Saturday, September 10, and enjoy the company of
friends while giving back to a member of the
community who has helped so many others over the
years. |
