The Bonners Ferry Police Department is proud to
announce the Boundary County Law Enforcement
Explorer Post #190 competed against area law
enforcement agencies in Mt. Hall School’s
“Battle of the Badges” benefit chili cook off,
held last Saturday, November 15 at Mt. Hall
Elementary School.
The Explorer Post, which started in August and
is a joint effort by the Bonners Ferry Police
Department, Boundary County Sheriff’s Office,
and United States Border Patrol now has 13
active area young people who meet regularly and
are involved in the program. The Explorers also
recently served our community by assisting in
traffic and parking control during the recent
Bonners Ferry High School Homecoming football
game.
The Bonners Ferry Police Department is committed
to this community. We are proud of these kids
and the young adults they are becoming. We are
also grateful to the citizens of Boundary County
and Bonners Ferry for helping support our youth
and the Explorer program financially. |
