Boundary County Fair 2015: Contest starts now |

by Sandy Schnepf,
Boundary County Fair Administrator
The 2014 Boundary County Fair is a fair to
remember with the storm that blew through on
Friday. The word that day was that no one can
remember something like that ever happening
during the fair but our fair is mighty and
withstood what Mother Nature offered that day. I
know there were lots of great pictures taken
throughout the storm so if you have pictures you
would like to share with the Fair Office please
email to:
bcfair@boundarycountyid.org or bring a
flash drive or disk down to the Fair Office. It
might be kind of fun to put together a memory
book for future generations.
This year’s fair is also one to remember as
another great fair that you all had a hand in.
Each and everyone who participate in the fair
are an important part of the fair from the many
volunteers, exhibitors, parents, buyers for the
market animals and to the local businesses who
generously donate in any way asked. You all
contribute so much each year for a successful
fair. Many Thanks to each and everyone for a
great 2014 fair!
Preparation has begun for the 2015 fair to be
held August 19 – 22. Boundary County will be
celebrating its centennial in 2015. The Boundary
County Fair Board is sponsoring a contest for
the fair theme and artwork for the cover of the
fair book. The theme and artwork should depict
an aspect of the county’s 100th birthday
celebration. Artwork and theme should be
submitted to the Fair Office by Monday, December
1. The winner of the contest will receive a $100
cash prize. If you have any questions please
call the Fair Office at 267-7041 or email to:
bcfair@boundarycountyid.org .
The fair takes many volunteers to keep it going
strong. If you would like to join the great
group of volunteers for the 2015 fair or have
new ideas or changes, please call the Fair
Office or contact any Fair Board member.
Thank You Boundary County, and see you at the
2015 Fair!
