Winners of the Boundary County Middle School
spelling bee today were: Sixth grade, 1st place
Ana Chase, 2nd place Damon Madson; Seventh
grade, 1st place Morgan Moon, 2nd place Taylor
Cromwell; and eighth grade, 1st place Camille
Ussher, 2nd place Kyle Smith.
Congratulations to all the students who
participated! We are proud of each of you!
The Boundary County elementary spelling bee
takes place at 9 a.m. Saturday, January 20, at
Free Methodist Church, 6957 Labrosse Hill
Street, Bonners Ferry, and students in the North
Idaho Home School District will hold their
spelling bee at Grace Bible Church, W152 Prairie
Avenue, Hayden, at 10 a.m. Saturday, January 27.
The winners in each grade four through eight
will qualify for the North Idaho Regional
Spelling Bee at North Idaho College at 8:30 a.m.
Saturday, March 17.
At today's bee, organized by Dottie Gray, Bob
Saboe was the announcer, Paul Bonnell was the
second judge for the sixth and eighth grades,
Kelly Hinthorn was second judge for the seventh
grade and Bonners Ferry Rotary Club members
Wilma DeVore, Linda Alt, Kristie Campbell and
Dave Gray were first judges. |
