“See the World with EF Tours” ... This was the
theme for the Foreign Language Society of
Bonners Ferry High School on its trip to Costa
Rica during spring break 2014.
Eleven students, along with their fearless
leader, Senora Linda Hall, braved the forest
canopy to zipline through the treetops and go
white water rafting in Sarapiqui, walked among
the Morfo Azul , Costa Rica’s famous
butterflies, hiked to the Catarata La Fortuna
(waterfall), swam in the hot springs at Resort
Baldi, kayaked on Lake Arenal, and visited
volcano pots in the Rincon de la Vieja National
Park.
The final day, students basked in the sun on
Playa Hermosa beach in Guanacaste, while eating
fresh coconuts.
F.L.S. members would like to thank the Bonners
Ferry High School Boosters, the Rotary Club, the
Knights of Pythias, and all family, friends, and
community members who supported the fundraising
efforts to make this trip possible.
Thank you for helping create life-long
travelers!
Our next trip with EF Tours will be to London,
Paris, Florence and Rome during Spring Break
2015. If anyone is willing to offer work or help
sponsor students on this trip, please contact
Linda Hall at Bonners Ferry High School, (208)
