Boundary County Public Information
Once again Boundary County is hit with a scam
that seems too good to be true. A concerned
citizen reports that someone claiming to be from
Monster Energy Drinks wants to pay them to
display signage on their vehicle for them.
These solicitations can come in the form of an
email or a phone call, and their recruitment can
seem so real. This offer from Monster has been
confirmed as a scam.
Do not be taken in by these professionals and do
not send any money or bank transfers for a
promise of grand returns.
The Bonners Ferry Police Department asks that
you call them will any offers that seem too good
to be real, so that all of our local citizens
can be notified.
Please call (208) 267-2412 for scam alerts or
911 for any police emergency.
Working together we can protect our local
citizens from predators looking for a quick
dollar at our expense. |
