Special education teacher Cynthia
Stovall-Sanders and librarian Lori Plato, both
of Boundary County Middle School, have been
named School District 101's certified and
classified Employees of the Month for December.
"Cynthia has helped me immensely this year,"
said principal David Miles. "She is always there
to answer my special education questions
especially when it comes to legal issues. She is
very organized and has been the first person to
show me that special education doesn't have to
be scary. Cynthia understands the role and goals
of special education and carries it out in a way
which helps those students succeed. She has also
stepped up this year and acted as a leader when
I was in need of one."
"Lori has taken on extra duties this year which
has saved an entire program at my school," he
continued. "She is always willing to go above
and beyond and help wherever and whenever
needed. I believe she truly cares about what is
best for each student and also for all students
as a whole. She offers a great perspective as a
community member, employee, and parent which is
invaluable." |
