October 26, 2013 |
The National Weather service has issued a
weather advisory calling for high local
winds and cold temperatures tomorrow and Monday.
Northeast winds of 25 to 35 miles per hour are
likely, along with gusts of up to 45 miles per
hour.
A strong Canadian cold front is expected to
sweep through the area by Sunday, pushed by high
winds and followed by even blusterier
conditions.
Combined with rapidly cooling temperatures, the
wind chill readings are expected to drop into
the teens or low 20s.
Travel conditions could deteriorate, and outdoor
pets and livestock could be at risk. |
