Mining firm submits plan for exploration

Minerals and Metals Group (MMG), a mid-tier
global resources company which explores,
develops and mines base metal deposits around
the world, headquartered in Melbourne,
Australia, has submitted a proposed plan of
operation to the U.S. Forest Service for mineral
exploration in northern Boundary County.
MMG holds mining claims on around 10,000 acres
in the Hall Mountain, Copeland and Mission Creek
areas.
The Hall Mission to Drill proposal continues
explorations in 2011 with eight drill sites to
develop a more complete 3D model of subsurface
mineralization, plus continued soil and rock
sampling and stream sediment sampling.
The eight drilling sites are accessed by
existing Forest Service roads.
If the exploration proves successful, MMG plans
to submit additional plans of operation for
additional exploration and potential
development.
