Idaho Governor Butch Otter announced today that
the Idaho Lottery enjoyed record sales in the
past year.
"Last week the Lottery staff came to my office
and presented me with a check for $48.2 million
for Idaho's schools," Otter said. "That's the
largest dividend in the Idaho Lottery's 24-year
history. It's also an increase of more than 16
percent over last year's total earnings and
means the Lottery's beneficiaries all received
record amounts."
The Department of Education and the Permanent
Building Fund each received over $18 million and
the Bond Levy Equalization Fund received over
$12 million. |
