Sponsored by: Idaho Women in Timber Anika is the daughter of Maureen and William Blackmore. She has one brother, Caleb, and three sisters, Emily, Lily and Mia. Her extracurricular activities include Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, soccer, track, honor choir, national Honor Society, Boundary County performing arts, and jet skiing. Anika has been dancing for her family and friends since she was a child. Through dance she feels she can express her emotions. For her talent she will sharing her love of dance as she performs a ballet solo to “Little Wonders,” by Rob Thomas. Anika also enjoys jazz dancing, playing the piano, painting, and swimming. Her favorite musician is Phil Collins and two modern personalities that interest her are Anne Hathaway and Lynne Cox. When asked what makes her the most proud of her generation she states, “The strength and courage despite the temptations and trials we face.” |
