Winter storm watch upgraded

A winter storm watch issued yesterday by the
National weather service has been upgraded to a
winter storm warning, which is in effect
from 10 p.m. today to 4 p.m. Sunday above 3,500
feet.
Snow is expected to begin falling this evening
and intensify Sunday morning, with accumulations
of up to a foot possible. The snow is expected
to begin tapering off Sunday afternoon.
Expected to be wet and heavy, the snow has the
potential to create hazardous driving conditions
at higher elevations.
