If you've ever wondered how to harness the power
and reach of today's internet social media, it's
time to sign up for boot camp ... Social Media
Boot Camp, taking place for four hours Wednesday
evening at the extension office.
Sponsored by the Bonners Ferry Chamber of
Commerce, Jamie Lynn Morgan will be teaching
attendees how to effectively promote their
business or organization via social media sites
including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest
and more.
During the free boot camp, she'll show you what
makes these platforms a good way to promote and
market, how to use each platform most
effectively, where and how to set up accounts
and more.
After the class, you won't be left on your own,
either; each attendee will get a free 30-day
period during which they can consult with Morgan
and get answers to any questions.
The class, once again, is free. It takes place
from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m. Wednesday, October 24, at
the Boundary County Extension Office, 6447
Kootenai Street. You do need to sign up by
sending an email to
info@bonnersferrychamber.org.
